Our Amazing Staff!
| MELISSA: Ballet/contemporary/lyrical/jazz. Melissa has danced competitively for six years at SCS, Huntington Beach Dance Team, where she took the title of dance champ 5 years in row. She was under the professional teaching of Tim Stevenson, Twitch (from So You Think You Can Dance), and was blessed to take a master class by Mia Michaels. Her senior year of high school she came over to our studio, BCS, for her last year of competing and since has been teaching all ages. ASHLEY: Ashley began her dance training under Joffrey and Houston Ballet Principals at Orange County Dance Center at age 3. She quickly fell in love with ballet and soon after added tap, jazz and contemporary classes to her schedule. Her choreography credits include Puttin on Productions, Theatre 31, Good Day LA, OC Fair and Imagination Celebration to name a few. Ashley teaches our Micro Mini and Mini competition teams and since joining the STARS family in 2009, has taken home the National title every year. |
